VSX – Vogel Software is presenting the new impeller.net Internet portal for the first time at the 4th International Rotating Equipment Conference to be held from 24 to 25 September 2019. The next generation of the portal is going online by the end of 2019, offering visitors a unique variety of interesting contents and new functions. In the course of the redesign, special attention is paid to the integrated PumpSelector. The new, open sales platform will integrate the offers of manufacturers and sellers and connect them directly with prospective customers and buyers.

The RedUnit is a combination of grinders and pumps which is used for the defined shredding of meat waste and remains. Large quantities of difficult and demanding substances such as meat, bones, skin and offal are easily shredded by the RedUnit. The system is particularly compact and is adapted to the customer s individual requirements due to its modular design.

Vogelsang is presenting its wide range of technical solutions for the optimization of biogas plants.

In the business year 2017, Vogelsang GmbH & Co. KG increased its sales by 14 percent to 105 m euros, thus continuing its trend of growth. “Over the course of the past year, we have set up additional production sites and subsidiaries in locations such as Russia, Brazil, Morocco, Dubai and Portugal, as well as expanding some of our existing sites.

Vogelsang will be presenting its RedUnit, a compact combination of macerators and pumps for food disposal. The RedUnit combines the advantages of Vogelsang’s proven twin-shaft macerator XRipper, its wet macerator RotaCut and its CC-series progressive cavity pump. It allows large quantities of coarse or fine solid matter to be shredded into media that can be easily processed further and can be adapted precisely to meet different customer requirements.

“In sewer systems and sewage treatment plants, disruptive matter like wet wipes or entangled material is often to be expected. These clog up pumps, lines and valves, thus impairing operation. The new generation of our waste water grinder XRipper reliably reduces this matter to an unproblematic size, ensuring trouble-free operation and helping prevent costly interruptions in the long term,” says Harald Vogelsang, managing director of Vogelsang.

In the coming year, the third Spaix User Conference will take place in Dresden. The conference focuses on the exchange of experiences, between the participants and the VSX staff, concerning the Spaix software solutions and the pump sales optimization. The introduction of the new version 5 of the pump selection software Spaix is another highlight in 2017.

Hugo Vogelsang Maschinenbau has taken over Bos Benelux B.V. After 30 years as an active partner, Vogelsang has now strengthened its bond with the company, in order to control sales in the Benelux countries directly in the future.
